Meet Dr. Saartje
I am Saartje Jooris, a medical doctor with a deep interest in lifestyle medicine, long-term health, and the connection between body, mind, and daily life.
In my work, I have seen how may health problems are influenced by the way we live, recover, eat, move, breathe, handle stress, and relate to ourselves and others. I believe that patients benefit from understanding these connections, so they can take more informed and realistic steps towards better health.
From that same vision, I founded The Health Shift, an online platform that translates reliable knowledge about lifestyle, health and wellbeing into clear insights and practical tools for everyday life.
Alongside my medical background, I also offer homeopathic consultations as a separate service.
Across my different services, my intention remains the same: to look at the whole person, take time to understand what is happening, and support each person in a way that is individual and meaningful.
My aim is to offer thoughtful, personalised care for people who want to understand their health more deeply and take an active role in improving it.
